5-ply Table Tennis blades:

The blades are made with Hide Glue, which provides a great feel and consistency to the blade. Hide Glue is used for making musical instruments.

Spruce Sitka is a tonal wood and is used for making Violins, Guitars, Violas etc. SS is also great for the TT blade. Visse blades have thick Spruce Sitka outer plies.

The choice of plies and ply thickness combined with Hide glue make these blades, quite possibly the best blades out there.

1. SS-Purpleheart: Thick Spruce Sitka (SS) with Purpleheart middle layers and thin balsa core. Made with Hide Glue, 83 GRAMS, Off- speed, SUPERB FEEL AND CONTROL, great for looping, 5.7mm blade thickness.  Blade dims: 158 x 150, 100mm ST handle

2. SS-Cherry: Thick Spruce Sitka (SS) with thick Cherry middle layers and thin balsa core. Made with Hide Glue, 93 GRAMS, Off speed, FAST w good feel, 6.5mm blade thickness.  Blade dims: 158 x 150, 100mm ST handle
